David Lawrence: I have been in the lifestyle on and off for most of my life. For the past 8 years it has been on a 24/7 basis with my slave judy. I became known in the rope community through my photography and rope work. In July 2003 I found my love and passion for Japanese Inspired Rope Bondage. The influence of the Japanese Style is apparent in my ties. I am self taught and have had the fortunate opportunity to meet, befriend and share knowledge with many of the top riggers from around the world. Sharing knowledge is a passion of mine and I feel a responsibility. I have had my images of rope bondage published in many International publications such as SECRET Magazine, Skin Two, Marquis, Kink and more. My first book BOUND, Shibari Style Impressions is sold out. My second book reBOUND, Shibari Style Impressions will be launched upon its return from printing in May 2011. I am working on a Men's Shibari Project, similar to reBOUND. And there will be more to come with images sharing my passion for rope and photography. My rope classes are about sharing knowledge and pushing the limits of the mind. If you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced rope enthusiast we can share our knowledge, experience and grow from the interactions within my classes. This class is all about creating strong connections with your partner. All to often we forget the connection when tying our partners. This class explores creating and heightening the experience of the bottom and, of course, the top in the scene. How to open up the lines of communication both verbal and non-verbal to allow for HOT – HOT – HOT playtime with rope. Is there a sexual component to rope play? We’ll explore that too! After all, it is the exploration/journey that provides much satisfaction… |

| Suspensions Fundamentals for the Beginner and Intermediate Riggers : (Course overview) | ||||
This class will include inverted suspension and the David Lawrence waist harness, sideways and face down…this will include starting with a partial and safety aspects associated with suspension. During this class I will break down the fundamentals of safe suspension techniques that enable the Beginner to understand and explore their first suspensions successfully…the Intermediate to expand their knowledge base…and the Advanced to fine tune their abilities with sound fundamentals…this is a hands on class and all participants will be able to work through at least one suspension with guidance and support from me. |
